como esta' paisano? Here is one of the picture taken last year of the reunion of sano in Texas. This was taken at the Maullons' house. Padre Maullon was busy inside the house entertaining the parishioner, that's why he was not included on the picture. Most of these sano are from Virac Can. in different batch.
The only person that I really know is Boyet Maullon batch '80. The 3rd guy from the right. The picture was taken the day you guys are doing the parade at the city of Sorsogon. We even have an open phone line on that day so that everybody can talked to their own classmates. It was fun..
our congratulations to aying ante who passed the recent 2005 bar exams. badaw, dako na harandaan ini ano aying hehehehe
Msgr. Augusto G. Laban celebrated his 50th Sacerdotal Anniversary last March 17, 2006 at the Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral in Sorsogon

Atty.A. Cubias address the assembly about the vision, the objectives and the dreams..nan an karaon..
fr. pax was our rector during the four years our batch (b86) was in olps minor. we probably drove him nuts sometimes hehehehe. but olps was better when he was there. hope he becomes rector again :-)
today he celebrates 30 years as a priest.
fr. pax, we wish you more meaningful years of priesthood ahead.
Sano Mayor Ding Ramos addressing the whole assembly. Ding Ramos has been instrumental in sustaining the alumni group and has been very active in alumni affairs

these pix were taken during the first SANO assembly yata. am not very familiar with the SANO story but i vaguely remember my brother jay telling me about it. but it was so long ago. jay said it was a good reunion and everybody had loads of fun!

this is new yata. seems like minor seminaries in luzon are now holding a yearly sportsfest. pero this is for third year semianrians only. its called Sangkan. and olps was among the particpants in Sangkan 3.
during my time, there was BAMS and olps hosted it. i dont remember if we were the champs but i think we won in a lot of games hehehe ;-)
this is the news article about Sangkan 3
and this is a blog of a seminarian from guadalupe minor semianary on his participation in Sangkan 4. interesting naman mga blogs niya. nakakaremind nung kapanuhan natin kaya lang wala pa internet at blogs nun.
once you go to his blog just search for "sangkan"
kitaa baya ha kay mayadonon man ano :P

this is a lame post :D but i got nothing new to post. this list probably was generated from spam email - kinda like a school alumni list. its interesting nonetheless.

here's an article mentioning fr. pedro who currently serves as a parochial vicar at St. Barnabas Church, Bayville, N.J., in the Diocese of Trenton.
hmm, i wonder whats with filipino priests serving abroad? hehehe maybe we have so many priests that we have send them abroad too. ano kaya tawag sa kanila? OFP? overseas filipino priests :D
here's a website of SOLT priests. i only know two guys here, saligumba and andre. wonder what happened to the others coz there were many of them who attended coke seminary when i was a freshman there. they were great guys btw, easy to get along with and really serious about pursuing the priestly life -hehehe
apologies for the blurry shot of the 2nd most important equipment/equipment in the seminary. the much loved study table we call "pupitre".
i learned during 3rd year that the best way to get the best pupitre is to come a day ahead of the seminary school year opening and scope out the best and drag it over to my assigned spot.
we also had fun covering and decorating the pupitres with pictures (cars, sports, women, saints, hehehe) and stickers
the bell pretty much governed seminary life. it was probably the most powerful object in the whole of seminary :D in that it dictates what you do at a certain time period hehehe. but now in olps they use a big electric buzzer. dekorasyon na lang yata itong bell.
i remember that being the timekeeper was one of the most envied work assignment back then
